DienaUlfaty fancies herself a student of many fields, especially religion (Islam), science, history, education, health and psychology (fancying yourself a student is not the same as knowing a lot). Hence the Diena’s weblog. As a child she was fascinated with all fields of science especially life sciences. As a cute and charming child (gag), she had a lot of pets – rabbit, birds, cats, chickens, rats, mice (my cats already killed them all so my house is free from mice and rats hi hi hi…), ants (especially when raining season ants becomes uncontrolled, but my house remain clean because they live on the trees nearby), (are you still awake?) etc., etc.

Even stranger than the above is that she studied Physics for 5 years and joining the Riset Unggulan Terpadu (RUT IX) in Institut Teknologi Bandung. After joining the research she went back to Pare – Kediri and replaced her mother’s job to be a Mathematics and Physics teacher for about 2 years. The reason is because her mother had a cancer and couldn’t do the job that she was paid for.Before founding Diena’s weblog Diena made her living as a full time mommy with one daughter and a writer. Before she knew and interested in religion, she worked as a novel writer (but it’s not my real job, it’s just one of my hobbies). She knew if she wanted to be more serious in this field, she would become the real novel writer (it was proved by her achievement as a finalist of novel writing competition which was held by Dewan Kesenian Jakarta in 2003, and in 2001 she became the winner of short story competition in her university). But in that time, she never thought to be a fiction writer. She concerned to be a non fiction writer (and researcher) with a lot of activities especially relating with sciences (most of her works is about debating Harun Yahya’s Theory). Some of her works has published in online media and magazines. She did a variety of things, but mostly specialized in religion and education (as a mommy). After married in June 2006 she decided not to debate any theory in science and concerned to be a good mother for Zakiyah (her daughter).
Her last real job is as full time mommy with one daughter and in the spare time she writes anything she likes, she saves most of her works on her computer and not sending them to magazine or another media (she writes when she get bore with her activity at home, writing and reading is the only entertainment for her because she has no television). She takes a lot of time for reading books and educating her daughter.
Diena will occasionally accept writing jobs (occasionally means whenever she is paid).
